A modern Swedish "Paradise" Sofa by designer Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist (1925-1997) for Nordiska Kompaniet. Started in 1890, Nordiska Kompaniet is a luxury department store company that has collaborated with famous designers and architects in their highly sophisticated manufacturing workshops in St. Petersburg, Stockholm, and Gothenburg under the supervision of Axel Einar Hjorth, upholstered in citrus yellow fabric with an arching back to form armrests above the tight seat with self-welt. The back includes 22 upholstered buttons and rests upon tapered and splayed legs in veneer birch.
