A pair of Model 354 lounge chairs designed by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn. Each chair has a sculpted, solid mahogany frame with a gently angled back and curved legs. The front legs are straight and connected by a flat-front stretcher for structural support. Seats, armrests, and backrests are padded and upholstered in Brunschwig & Fils' “Le Zebre” screen-printed linen in a soft gray and ivory zebra pattern, a discontinued colorway. The seat and back cushions are removable and detailed with piped edges. One chair is an original from the 1930s; the other is a later replica, crafted to match and finished simultaneously. Together, they present as a cohesive, balanced pair. Each chair comes with a lumbar cushion in matching “Le Zebre” fabric.
