A French Louis XV-style two-tiered wine tasting table with shaped front and sides, having a single drawer and apron. The four cabriole legs supported by stretcher in form of a shelf. The rectangular top with marble front and raised tier having two recesses holding oval brass holders with Monteith edge, originally designed to hold stems of wine glasses and used to rinse glasses between tastings. Drawer has brass key escuchen and bronze leg mounts. Table circa 1940, the marble top is a later replacement made of antique stone.
