This 18th-century George II giltwood mirror features an elaborately carved frame with scrolling foliate motifs and a rich, gilded finish. The crest is adorned with a leaf-shaped finial, flanked by a pair of gracefully curved, scrolled details. The sides of the frame are embellished with carved tassels, adding to its ornate design. The mirror plate is framed by a molded border, accentuating its classical proportions.
