An ebonized fruitwood Louis XV-style bureauplat with four cabriole legs and shaped apron, finished on four sides, with 2 false drawers on one side and two drawers on the other flanking knee hole and decorated overall with bronze Rococo mounts. The top with inset faux-leather having ebonized cross banding with molded brass edge and ornaments at each corner. Signed multiple times with engraved paper labels from the Stockholm workshop of master cabinetmaker Gustaf Lambert Sahlholm. Circa 1900.
