A pair of Italian Neo-Classical open arm chairs with carved white painted frames having gilt details. The oval chair backs and seats are upholstered with French Aubusson tapestry, having polychrome floral and bird motifs accented by bows. The frames have a restored finish with arms extending outwards terminating in scrolls. The rounded apron is framed in gold velvet and supported by square tapered legs with fluting. Circa 1820.
