The glass, hand-carved with a sunburst pattern, lies frosted on the underside as if dusted by the breath of a winter morning. Light filters through the pattern like whispers through a half-closed door, soft yet insistent. The bronze frame stretches outward in golden flares, like flames frozen mid-dance; their edges curl as if caught in a sudden wind. Beneath the hand-carved glass surface, two candelabra sockets rest like seeds at the heart of a flower, waiting to bloom into light with their maximum wattage of 150.
